First hardware item to learn: Motherboard.
More Algorithm development
Sometimes in order to truly understand what an algorithm is, we have to make it a bit more hands on. Students play an algorithm maze game with Mr. Corey. Students had to get their partners from a starting point to an end point of a maze without looking and only using the functions: TurnLeft and Step.
In order to learn the names and functions of computer hardware, students played several hardware games.
Kindergarten - 2nd Grade students spend a lot of time understanding what Algorithms are. They are learning to design step-by-step instructions on how to do something. In this picture they are building algorithms to tell a mouse how to get to a party.
